How much of a performance increase would I get? I don't know about dual cores, so let's say I went from 2.2 to 2.5 or 2.6, how much of an increase would it be? Can you OC one, and not the other?

Sorry if this sounds retarded, but I've never delt with dual cores as everyone I know avoids them like the plague.

well i scored 200 points more on 3d mark 05 after ocing abit...
may be the performance almost doubles the normal single core oc'ing...
cuz there are 2 cores? lol my assumption after i heard yyou.

on Super_PI i got 37min for 32m when i was at 2.2 but when i OC'ed to 2.5 i get 30min. and for 1m i use to get 39 secs. now i get 34secs. and it was real easy to OC too.

Super Pi will let you calculate Pi to different numbers of decimal places. For example, 32 million or 1 million. What's specified is how long it takes to calculate to each. E.g., 37 mins to calculate to 32 million places.
