OVERCLOCKING ATHLON XP 1800+ (multiplier o'c)

Hey guys. I have this question. My CPU (athlon XP 1800+) is now clocked at 1920Mhz (167x11.5) from the default 1530Mhz. That means I oc'd by 390 Mhz. The temps is still very cool (maximum 40 Celsius at idle). Now I have tried changing the multiplier once into 13/12.5...and guess what? It failed to even boot into DOS. I had to reset the CMOS to fix that. Now as far as I know, my JIUHB series has the multilplier UNLOCKED. Why would my motherboard (Msi KT4 Ultra - 166Mhz FSB max) cause this problem? Could it be because it requires (the processor) more juice? I still have it at the default Vcore voltage. If so ... I am gonna get busy o'cing this baby. Keep in mind that I have TBRED B Athlon XP...not Palomino or TBRED A. It makes a hell of a difference. I was lucky to get hold of it.
