Overclocking Intel i7

Ive never ever overclocked before but i want to try it

Are there any guides out there?
i know there is

but i read of the guide and had problems how you do actually change your core clock and multiplier

these are my specs.

Intel i7 920
Foxxconn Bloodrage
Prolimatech - Megahalems CPU Cooler - 775 / 1366
COOLER MASTER Storm Scout
XFX Radeon 4890
OCZ Platinum 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600

if there is anything else you guys need to know tell me, if there any youtube turtorials out there i think that would be awesome...oh and whilst im asking can you overclock my 4890 an is there any point in doing that i play games like cod4, CSS and Modern warfare 2 when it comes out
 
Just try it in small steps, testing along the whole way. My PC now is really the first one I ever overclocked and I got it to 3.33GHz quite easily. Some of your hardware's a bit nicer than mine, so as long as your temps hold steady and you have a nice power supply, you should be able to go even higher without much of a problem.
