Overclocking locked BIOS

I was wondering if it was possible to get past the locked BIOS on my computer. It's a stock HP and I got it really cheap at a black friday sale last year, and I've pretty much upgraded everything but the processor. I went into the BIOS to see if it would be overclockable, but all of the speed settings were greyed out. 2.6GHZ is probably fine, but I was just wondering if I could go higher. Thanks!

unless you can find a third-party BIOS for that exact motherboard and find a utility that would flash it, then I seriously doubt it.

not, you can't OC prebuilt computers. the only way i can think of is to do the BSEL mod, which ups the fsb. this is not guaranteed to work because you might need to increase the CPU voltage, which is not possible. if you have a good chip, then it'll run "OC'ed" at stock voltages.
