Iam crapping my pants on OCing my CPU becoz iam new at upgrading my comp and stuff...i even got scared replacing my RAM thinking i was about to do something wrong

anywooo these are my computer details Intel(R) Pentium(R) Dual CPU E2160 @ 1.80GHz 1.80GHz, 1.00 GB of RAM

how much (safe amount please) should i OC my CPU and how do i go about doing it? is there a programm? or is it a manual thing inside my computer??

i think it should not be a problem reaching 2.2ghz without bumping the procesors voltage, and 2.4 should be pretty easy with a small V bump

overclocking 101 dude....:D should help you some i wouldnt do anything ..read up on it 1st then try some overclocking...because if you dont post for the 1st time do you know what to do? if not read up 1st :D

I run my E2160 at 2.8 with voltage at 1.30. But I use Speedstep so that my CPU only uses the OC when needed. Good luck.

You don't have to do anything "inside" of you computer. It'll all be on the monitor.

One thing that you have to look out for, is your temperatures. Something tells me you're running a stock Intel cooler n' paste.

You should be able to reach 2.5-2.8 without a problem. But this also depends on your RAM, Motherboard, and PSU.
