Overclocking my Q6600 and Ram

Hey I just overclocked my Q6600 to 3.24 Ghz, and forced my ram to run at 5-5-5-15 timings. They are running at a 1:1 ratio now, I was wondering does that mean my ram that was meant to be 800mhz is now running at the same FSB as my CPU (1440)? If so that's crazy, I mean I haven even raised the voltages!. If not how can I check what speed or accurately check what speed my ram is running at. Also is it best to have a 1:1 ratio?

p.s. This is my first over clock

if its stable then it fine but it may get a bit hot, i run my ram at 1064mhz and it works nicely, you should have an option for linking or unlinking the ratio, if so unlink them and set them yourself, what are your stock memory timings?
