Overclocking older CPU.

Would it be wise or possible to overclock an Intel core 2 quad CPU Q6600 running at 2.40 GHz.

If so would I do it under BIOS?

I have a Q6600 and have overclocked it to 3.2 GHz. You do this in BIOS. Typically you raise the multiplier.
