I have ASUS P4P800SE motherboard.
I did play around CPU overclocking to from 1% to 5% in manual setting.
It goes like this in 5% overclocked.
Core Speed 3400MHz to 3570 MHz
Bus Speed 200MHz to 210MHz
Rated FSB 800MHz to 840.0 MHz
DRAM Frequency 200MHz to 210 MHz
but the problem when I go 6% overclocked CPU, DRAM Frequency going backward 210MHz to 140MHz. I am not too comfortable going farther... This is set as 10% overclocked
Core Speed 3400MHz to 3740 MHz
Bus Speed 200MHz to 220MHz
Rated FSB 800MHz to 881.0 MHz
DRAM Frequency 200MHz to 146 MHz
I found to set manual DRAM Frequency but it only set as 266, 320, 400, 500 or 533. I beleve my memory is at 210 max.
I doing in math...I need to reach around 50% cpu overclocked to get my memory speed back to 200
I hadnt try that yet because this is a huge jump...
I did in math.
Core Speed 3400MHz to 5100 MHz
Bus Speed 200MHz to 300MHz
Rated FSB 800MHz to 1200.0 MHz
DRAM Frequency 200MHz to 200 MHz
Do you think that will burn up CPU for good? In 5% overclocked is 32C by leaving XP on. In gaming, it climb up to 44C at the most. CPU coolen by 4500 RPM fan with heatsink.
