Overclocking RAM

The ram in my signature... want to OC a tad. But what the signs of it overheating and clearly have it turned up to high.

Anyone know what my motherboard and ram could be overclocked too?

The most obvious sign will be instability, you will probably receive a lot of BSOD's and crashes due to memory.

But out of curiosity, why do you want to overclock just your RAM? Usually you overclock it in conjunction with your CPU.

In my bios it has them as two seperate functions.

I just raised my DRAM from Auto to DDR800 since I think it was running at PC5300.

I also upped my CPU Frequency to 300 to get a 2.80ghz speed and the PC reset twice and now its back to normal.

When you increased the CPU frequency from 266MHz to 300 you overlocked the RAM to DDR-900. You probably need to increase the voltage for it to be stable.
