Overclocking trouble

I recently overclocked my AMD athlon 64 3000+ (venice core) to 2100 mhz.The problem is that
whenever i increase the fsb over 237 the computer becomes almost unusable as it constantly locks up whenever i try to access an application.I am using corsair pc3200 512mb ram and a gigabyte ga-k8ns pro-939 mb.

well, then youve reached your limit, each pc will ahve a different limit because of different hardware components. Its possible that your PSU is holding you back now or maybe something else, anyhoo, your not going any further than 237

Nah you prolly dont have to drop the memory divider, punch the Vcore to 0.1-0.15v above stock and set vdimm to 2.7 and you'll be fine :)

at this stage no, but it can be useful if your pushing you cpu to the limit - as you and i both know ;) but Shambree doesn;t

Last time i checked, a vcore bump after an almost-400Mhz OC is acceptable and expected. Check the numbers again :)

lol Prae, i was talking about the need for a divider silly :)
I was saying that you right and he may not need to alter the divider, but that it can be a useful if your trying to push your oc to the limit but not your ram :)

Of course the vocre will need to be jacked up
I bet you were think wtf is apj on about :) lol

Ok,i got the processor up to 2505 mhz,but im afraid of going any higher cause i dont wanna fry the precious thing :)
