Overclocking with jumpers ???????

IS the a way to overclock a cpu by moving the jumpers on the motherboard ??? (i think there is). dont send me to my mb manual or the oc101 coz the manual(that i have) SUXX and i read oc101 many times
i think is an old skool way... anw if any1 knows ..reply plz...

Hmmm...not sure about that. Maybe it's the equivalent to the old school computers that had "Turbo" buttons. Anyone remember those? lol If there is a way it's not really going to be anything noticeable.

Get me a link to the website (in english) for that mobo and ill have a look. Odds are, if you've not guessed by now, you wont be able to do it.

Well you can vary the voltage that is passed to the CPU which can be used in some overclocking methods...

(1) Take off your PC's lid and play around with your Motherboard's jumpers. Making sure you've got your Motherboard manual in hand, you can see how you should fit your jumpers for each CPU speed. Simply reposition the jumpers for a faster CPU by altering the bus and multiplier setting jumpers. (see table below)

maybe that was for the old motherboards before bios's came with overclocking utilities??

If hes got a mobo that is OCd via jumpers then that'll have to be done via jumpers ... but since he's read the mobo manual and not found anything, i doubt he'll be able to adjust the voltage either :|
