Overheating Issue on my TravelMate

My Acer TravelMate 5520G has this overheating problem. If I play games on it for a longer period of time, it seems like the fan just can't keep up and it gets overheated really fast. Does any1 have any idea for how to fix this?

do you mean it turns itself off?
one possible solution is taking it apart and cleaning out the heatsink and fan on the processor, and maybe even applying some more paste onto the processor, that should help the airflow and dissipate the heat better

Well most of the time it just gets really hot, but I imagine that if I would continue it might turn itself off (it's done this in the past, but I wasn't sure it was the heating problem).

But thanks for the tip, though I recently opened it up to deal with another issue it had, and it wasn't THAT dirty, even though I didn't clean it or anything.
