are the P180's really worth it

i love their look witht eh smooth lines and i can put 5 120 fan in there.

they are having a weekend sale for the black one down to 114.99

i would either be getting a Lian-Li PC-60BPlusII or the P180B

with the Lian-Li i would need 1x120(led)+2x80(led) fans to put in and with the P180 i would need 2x120 high performance(yet cheap) fans to add

so which should i do

do you think that they will have a sale on the P180 every weekend

Links for your assistance

P180B

PC-60BPlusII

also state some nice fans for me if you could

LED and non LED and 80 and 120 please

Both are great cases from what I've read. I like the design of the P180, but I've heard that a lot of people have a hard time connecting 20/+4 pin PSU cable to the motherboard because the PSU is on the bottom instead of the top. The only thing I don't like about the Lian-Li is that is requires some 80mm fans and I prefer 120mm.

The Antec Tri-cool fans are great. They have a little switch that allows you to control the speed of the fan so you won't need to use a programs to change speeds. They're $20 each for the 120mm fans but they're great. I haven't had any experience on the 80mm Tri-cool fans(I would provide a link but Newegg doesn't seem to have them).

the p180 it a cracking case, one of the best i have used and its part of my current rig.

The only issue as mentioned can be getting one of the cables to the motherbaord, a fair few older psu's just dont have a long enough cable, but a lot of manufacturers are now making their psu's with longer cables.

My Antec Treu power 2 fits it perfectly.

I haven't used that particular case, but I have two Antecs sitting in my office and I love them. Best cases I've ever owned. Chen Ming makes their cases, so you might be able to get it cheaper from them.

im thining of getting the P180 for my next build, its a great case, a mate of mine has it and he says its the best hes used so far, bearing in mind efore that he had the silver Thermaltake Tsunami Dream case, which is amazing anyway. Reviews cant seem to put a fault on it anywhere as far as i can see.

The only reason i would go for the Lian Li over this is because its Lian-Li, an established name in cases etc... i tend to think of Antec as case fans and power supplies etc...

my vote goes to the P180

yup

well i got to work out a dealw ith my mom and dad and me

the parts are about $1500 after MIR and my mom will pay 1k so i need my dad to pay around 3-400 and ill pay from 1-200

but shes making me have someone else put it together because shes doenst want to risk it

dam i know i can do it but she wont trust me

5 120mm fans??
i can only put 4...
anyways...
i encounter 2 problems about this case
1st is the 24pin cable like everyone saying
2nd will be the weight of the whole thing, it weights double to the crappy cases when you have everything inside...

i believe 1 in back, 1 on top, 1 in the wind tunenl, and 2 in front. I really REALLY want that case, but too bad im not building for another 2 years :( I was thinking that if i put 2 red cathodes in the front-side air vents, it'l spill out of the case and make the front glow red :)

actaully i only see 4 place mounts cuz the wind tunnel is pretty much the same but like 4 inches in farther than one of the fronts

but i have to case now and its awesome. nice sleek smooth black sides. sound dampening panels kinda. nice and sturdy and just looks sick
