Hi all!
I have a P4 at 2.8Ghz on an Asus P4PE motherboard and 1GB of Ram. I am also interested in playing the new Flight Simulator X if someone knows about its requirements. So, I am thinking of upgrating my system and I just saw an "upgrate packet" which includes : motherboard:ASUS P5V-VM DH LGA775 , CPU: INTEL 1,866GHZ 1MB X 2 S775 , and 512 DDR-2 Ram. The price is 300 Euros, so it is a good deal. (http://www.plaisio.gr/IWCatProductP...&Catalog_Id=1&Product_Id=345756&Merchant_Id=1)
My question is whether the Duo cpu at that speed can beat my P4 witch has higher frequency. Would I see any serius difference, or should I wait for the prices to drop and save more money to buy a 2.8Ghz duo cpu? I would be really grateful to hear your opinion.
Regards,
Ifikratis
