P4 adapter?

I just picked up a new mobo with a 478 pin socket and I have a working 423 pin spare cpu sitting around. I know there are adapters for putting a 478 pin cpu in a 423 pin mobo, but what about the other way around?

Different site and all but really the same product. I've spent some time Googling it and I haven't found a thing.hoping maybe someone here knows of something.

Just so you know.. those adapters take the "small" processor and fit it into the "large" socket, I want to take the "large" processor and put it in the "small" socket. They are made for people with an older mobo who want to upgrade their cpu, i got a newer mobo i want to use my older cpu with.

Nope, still same thing. I want to put a 423 pin cpu in a 478 pin mobo, every adapter ive found and you have shown is for putting a 478 cpu in a 423 pin mobo.

..... *smack*
read the descriptions.. they all say 478 pin cpu on 423 pin mobo, i want 423 pin cpu on 478 pin mobo.

I'm pretty sure they don't make adapters to go the way you want to, however since they do make ones that make a S423 a S478, if you are ambitious enough it should be easy enough to make your own.
