P4 overclock help

I just got a new cheap computer with a Dual Core pentium e5300. I was considering overclocking it (the current temp is around 34 Celcius), but then I had a problem. When booting one core would heat up to around 43 Celcius and then quickly drop to 33 celcius. Is this a problem?

whats the make of your computer? is it a prebuilt from like a dell, hp or acer or anything like that or is it a custom build

also its just a dual core pentium, pentium 4 went a long time ago

First of all, I'm guessing that the P4 in the title was due to you posting the wrong CPU at first like it says in your edit history, right? I wouldn't sweat it if it heats up to 43 degrees breifly at startup. That's still a low temp. Just make sure that at load temperatures it still remains below around 65c before you overclock, and 75c once you overclock. I looked up your CPU, and Intel rates it at a peak temp of 74.1C, so don't let it go above that for prolonged periods of time.
 
that depends on various factors, such as airflow in your case, cooling and so on
it is going to be trial and error and you will have to slowly increase the frequency and the voltage if needed and then use something like prime 95 to stress the cpu to check temps, this can be a slow process but it is worth to ensure you dont permantly damage any pc componants
i heard of people get this past 3.5 ghz on just air cooling
