I have a Asus P5N32-Sli Deluxe If I ever wanted to in the future to switch to an core 2 duo would my motherboard support it? I read somewhere that the core 2 duo didn't work with all 775 socket Motherboards.

Core 2s dont work with all, but your board either should natively or will with a BIOS update.
