P5WD2-E Premium CPU compatibility

Hi,

I have an Asus P5WD2-E Premium motherboard and I want to upgrade the processor (LGA775).
On the Asus webpage, I can see that the mobo support : Pentium D 940(3.2GHz, 800 FSB, L2 4MB, revC1)

I am wondering if this processor will fit...
Intel® Pentium® Processor E5800 (2M Cache, 3.20 GHz, 800 MHz FSB)

It is a dual core as the D 940... they have the same FSB, the same socket ...
I just wanna be 100% sure before I buy the E5800 !!!

Your board doesn't support any processor not listed on the cpu support page.

Same socket, different chipset, different voltage regulation. Not compatible. I learnt this the hard way myself.
