Package Managers on Ubuntu...

So, according to Wikipedia Ubuntu comes with GNU/Debian Package Manager. However, I was trying to install Flash Player Plugin for Firefox but the only options are .tar.gz, .RPM and YUM, no dpkg. Now I don't know what to do... do I have to install one of them before I can install Flash or what?

Go to Applications → Add/Remove...
Set Show: to All available applications
Search for "ubuntu-restricted-extras" and install it.
