Packard bell boot problem!

When my harddrive crashed cuple months ago i bought a new and inserted it in my PB laptop, model: easynote sj51,
when i tried too boot it did'n find any hdd, i tried cuple different sulutions but did not mather what i did, some months ago i put in a hdd from one of the acer aspire one mini netbooks and it finaly at least booted to a vista cd i had,
the probleme is that it won't boot from the hdd wich vista is on without the acer hdd in the second slot:( i need help cause i need the acer aspire hdd in it's original place! in the second computer, anyone who no anything? i seriously need help! pleas!:(
 
Look in the bios for a setting labeled sata controller and change it to IDE or Native IDE instead of ahci/raid. The reason why windows setup doesn't find any hard drive is because the controller is in most likely ahci mode and you need the controller driver installed for the system to actually see the drive.
