Paid Highschool Tech Job

Hey guys, obviously by my posts you can tell im new.
At my Highschool this year they hired me and one of my friends to basically train under the "real" techies at our school and we are actually getting paid for it. I mean because we are juniors we arent aloud to have free periods yet so i think its pretty damn neat to get free computer tech tutorials plus make money off of it. Does anyone else in school have a program something like this....or did you when you were in school?

Yeah, we had a school-based trainee program. I didn't do it because I was concentrating on my music then. If you want a job in the tech business it's definitely worth it. I'm currently doing fulltime external university in IT, plus a certificate in IT which is part of my job as a trainee IT techie with the education department. I work in schools doing what you'd probably be doing. I'm a trainee, but because no one's really around to train me I'm basically a regular techie getting paid half as much. That said, when it comes time to move up in the world and get that dream job I'm going to be that much ahead of everyone else. So yeah, while I'm probably not enjoying it as much as I should, it's definitely going to pay off.
