painting dvd cover

i have a desire to paint the front cover of my dvd-rom, i ordered a black case, and i want the dvd-rom to match the case.

what exactly do i need to go about painting it if its possible to paint it?

Pop the drive out. Put it on some plastic and cover the back with plastic, then carefully use a brush and paint it.

do you recommend any type of paint?

what about spray painting it?
