hey all. okay so heres the deal. i had vista installed on a 40 gig ide drive. i have a 750 gig brand new baracuda hard drive, ( f: ) which i store all my important files on, (this is the drive im missing everything on). I also have 2, 320 gig raided hard drives ( c: ) which i just installed a new copy of vista on. So i removed the old 40 gig ide, and installed a new clean copy of vista on the 2 raided hard drives. When vista booted up i was unable to see the hard drive which i store all my info on ( f: ) so i went to the disk managed and saw an 80 gig block of unallocated space on the drive where i was storing all my info ( f: ) i then created a new simple volume in that 80 gigs of unalocated space thinking maybe it would merge with the files that were already on that hard drive that i could not find. this did not happen so i deleted it. i have not written anything new to this hard drive, however i cant figure out why its broken into so many partitions, one of which claims to be larger than the actual drive its self. i have paragon partition manager installed and am trying to search for deleted partitions, but no luck yet. please help if possible, i can provide more screenshots of what paragon has given me so far if that helps. thanks in advance guys, you've been more than helpful int he past.
