Partition help.

I did a clean install of XP on my computer. I guess I messed up the partition part... I have a about a 180GB hard drive. My C drive used to be the main part and D drive the smaller. Well now C drive is still recognized as my main drive, but it is the smaller of the 2. When I try to do stuff, like updating, it says my hard drive ran out of space.

Is there a way I can switch how the drives are seen? Like make the D drive the main drive. Or do I have to reinstall again?

I don't know too many PC terms, this was the best I could explain it.

You would need to do a fresh install again making sure you delete the existing partitions. Your c partition should be at least 50 gb if you plan on having lots of game/software installed and then the remaining part of the drive to be used for your data. When you make a partition, you should put 50,000 in the size of the partition you want to make.

Can you give me the exact model number of the hard drive you have? So we can determine the best size partitions for your drive.
