Partition problems...

Hi all,

I keep getting 'low memory' warnings, and it's all my fault. A few years ago, I let my friend partition my hard drive into C: and D: drives, using Partition Magic. (Don't know which version). I didn't get why, but he said it would help. Now, my C: drive is always low on memory (90MB at the moment!) but my D: drive has way more room (12GB free at the moment...) My question is, is there a way to redistribute some of that memory back to the C: drive that's always so low??

thanks in advance!

partition magic can repartition the drive, or you could just move the files to the other partition, but watch what you move. Installed programs should be uninstalled then reinstalled to your D drive

The only thing I will add, and its a no-brainer, but always worth repeating:

Backup AT LEAST all of your important files, first.

Even with Partition Magic (which is fairly reliable at repartitioning your drive without corrupting your data), there is always a chance for an error. Its better to be safe than sorry.
