Partition Tool

I’m currently setting up several pc's for software testing, with operating systems 98Se, ME, NT4, 2000 and XP in various languages.

Each operating system will ideally be installed on about a 5gig partition on the disk, and then backed up onto a secondary hard disk.

I’m looking for a tool that can manage up to 50 partitions, enabling me to boot between the various operating systems, back them up to the secondary hard disk and also restore them to the original state from the back up on the secondary hard disk.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Windows should prompt you asking what OS you want to boot from, dont think you need a program to do that. As for paritions, i would go with Norton PartitionMagic.

Is it possible to run the Partition Magic software using 40-50 operating systems, and booting between them?

How do the inactive partition's display in wondown, are they assigned drive letters, as the number of partitions needed would exceed 26 avaliable letters!

Im not sure if there is a limit on the number of paritions on a hard drive, because i dont know what it would do after the 26 letters are used up. Unless it goes to CC:\

To OS Dragon: I have used it to run a live cd linux but i have not tried installing linux yet. But I have herd of people installing linux with it. I'm only trying it out right now but i may buy it soon.
