Partitioning a Seagate ST3300601CB-RK Hard Disk Drive

Can someone tell me the process to partition a Seagate ST3300601CB-RK External Hard Disk Drive and what software would be best to use to do it if there is any needed.
I want to split it into 6 volumes.

Had the same problem a few days ago. Just get acronis (it's $50, but there are other ways to attain it...)
