partitioning/dual boot program(s)

greetings,
i have a dell optiplex 210L with xp home. i have tried to install
system commander into the system but, when i go through the process of preparing the hd for partitioning and to add another os in the partition, i get a box that says "system commander is analyzing your system" and appears to just hang there forever. i do not know if it is because of the 160gb hd or some unknown incompatibility.

so, now i have to come up with another program that will give me the ability to run a dual boot system. i do not have a floppy drive in this system so, whatever programs recommended should not require a boot floppy be made. i would like to have a decent looking interface when the computer boots up to select which operating system i want to use......any suggestions?

partition magic to create the partition and if you are running xp that should find the new os and create a duel boot giving the option to choose wich os to boot at startup

...thanks for the reply..what does that boot-up interface look like from where you make the particular selection as to which os you want to use at the time?...anyone have a picture??.....thans again

when you boot the pc a black screen with the two os will apear and you just use the arrow keys on your keyboard to navigate to the os you want to load
