are these parts any good for gaming? that plus a cd burner and a 1TB HDD, for 299. i know the video card is garbage and would need to replace and was thinking a EVGA GeForce GTX 560 Ti FPB 1GB GDDR5 PCIe. would that be good and is there anything else i would need to replace. i dont need a monster gaming rig i just want to play most games on descent graphics without major FPS issues.

Yup with the 560 Ti it should all be OK. Might want to consider 8GB of RAM though and maybe a better branded HDD. Western Digitial, Samsung or Seagate are my three favourite brands of hard drive.

The 560 Ti is a good card still but it's kind of old. A Radeon HD 7850 would be a better choice in this day and age - newer card with a stronger GPU and twice the RAM. I think they're around 200 bucks, so they're actually cheaper than the 560 Ti's on Newegg. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150617

Not sure a 450W PSU is quite going to cut it with a 7850 - might want to consider this instead http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139028

all that for 399 seems good too me but i want to be sure it can handle games like WoW, dayz, warz, battlefield 3, and a bunch of other games i am unable to play now because my computer is too bad. again replacing video card with the gtx 650ti.
