PartyPoker Trojan/Spyware Opens New Browser Window

Never installed software from those MF's at PartyPoker or joined any other online gambling sites. Despite this, some trojan/Spyware keeps opening up a new browser window to PartyPoker.com homepage. When that happens, all other browser windows stop functioning properly. Text boxes in these windows stop working. Did full system scan using AVG, Avast, Spybot, Ad-aware and Spyware Terminator and it found nothing. Ran SDfix.exe and CWShredder and it did not detect anything.

Would be grateful for any help.

Here's the Hi-jack log ( I deliberately renamed Hi-Jack to Eatme ):

Your "EatMe" log looks clean. Did you run it under Safe Mode?

I ran SDfix and CWShredder in safe mode, but not Hi-Jack This

Here's another log file that was run in safe mode:

Your log DOES appear clean...Can you describe the problems that you're experiencing? Anyway, follow these steps for now:

1) Go here to download SpywareBlaster http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html Remove SpywareTerminator then install this. Run its updates and click "Enable All Protection". SpywareBlaster has stronger detection rules and prevents deeper infections.

2) Go here to download Active Virus Shield http://www.activevirusshield.com It is written by Kaspersky Labs using the same engine & coding as their top-end Professional Edition AntiVirus. Make sure you enter a valid email so you may receive the Activation Code. Install it, run its updates and then a Complete Scan. AVS is rated #2 among 20 top Anti-Virus programs. Its detection rules rating is 99.3%, 0.3% behind Kaspersky's Professional Edition, 0.2% above NOD32.

3) Go here to download AFTCleaner http://www.atribune.org/ccount/click.php?id=1 Save to Desktop. If you use IE, click "Select All" then "Empty Selected". If you use Firefox, click the Firefox tab on the very top and click "Select All" then "Empty Selected".

4) Go here to download DrWebCureIt ftp://ftp.drweb.com/pub/drweb/cureit/cureit.exe Install it and run Scan. Let it clean if it finds anything.

Typically what happens is, I'll be performing a web search and when I start typing something in the Yahoo search box (or any other box like a message box or shopping search page ) the text cursor would vanish. The page would start scrolling down or go to the previous page depending on what key I push. When I put the cursor back into the text box and start typing again, the cursor vanishes again and the same thing happens.

When I look to the tabs at the bottom of the screen, like clockwork, I see partypoker.com. When I close it, then things go back to normal.

It's no wonder sites like that are off shore.

if you press tab that elaves the search field then pressing backspace will take you backa page and using arrows will scroll up and down the page, the cursor disappears when your typing fast, a simple solution perhaps? and the aprtypoker could just be an ad that pops up
