My neighbor gave me a desktop computer he has. No one is able to operate it because no one knows the password. I am sure it has OS XP on it. Machine is Hp pavilion 505n. Machine did not come with recovery system disks. I think built in to hard drive if I'm not mistaken. How can I get into system to set this up and working again? Thanks for your help.

Sorry, we don't help bypass passwords on this forum. You can do one of two things:
1: Google how to remove the password
2: Contact HP to get some recovery media for that computer.
