I have two hard drives on my pc. On which is used for everyday stuff, and another which i keep inportant documents on. Is it possible to password protect the whole of that drive? The drive doent contain windows or anything important.

altho a cheaper route would be to make the important folders invisible and then hide invisible files on that drive

There is a program out there that will do exactly that. It locks the folders that you select with a password and then hides them so nobody else can access them. I use it myself. It's called Lock Folder XP.

password protect your account, and then encode the files. make sure you change them back to their original state before you ever reformat the drive though.
