I would go with patriot

1. Becuase its in stock

I have had better expirience with the patriot sticks and i am usually loyal to brands. if they have treated me well in the past i have no doubt they will in the future

Yea some mobos and OS dont support up to a certain amount of memory.

2 gigs is really all that is needed for current day apps. You really dont need more.

If this is the 500a your talking about, its uses pc-100 and will only read 256mbs max
