Pavillion CPU Upgrade?

I want the biggest cpu i can get. I have a HP Pavilion A1740N with a 1.86GHz Intel Core 2 Duo (E6300). The MB specs Here: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/...a&lc=en&dlc=en&product=3340229&dlc=en&lang=en tell me i can have a E6x00 CPU, so before i go and spend lots of money, would upgrading to the E6600 or E6700 work and be worth it?

Nope not worth it...

An E6300 is great already. All you need to upgrade is the GFX in that PC, then it's good to go.

I already took all components from the pavilion case and put them in the Antec Nine Hundred case, i added a PNY GeForce 8400GS, 3G or Ram, and upgraded PSU to a thermaltake TR2-430w. So i guess this means there nothing more i can do.

Get an Corsair 520HX, 620HX, 700w OCZ GameXstream, get an 8800GTS... 2GB in dual channel?
