Pay The Price?

Hey guys. Right now I'm debating on whether or not to upgrade from a 4400+ to a 4800+. I know the spec difference, but do you guys believe that it is worth the $300+?
 
I would not bother, both of them have 1mb L2 cache, If you want more out of it just buy a decent heat sink and OC it a bit.
 
Ok, thanks guys... I needed to know this so I could upgrade the other parts of my computer (budget... sorta':D) and maybe I could upgrade from my little 15 in. LCD :(
 
I had the biggest dilema in choosing my CPU. It was choosing between
X2 3800
X2 4200
X2 4400
X2 4800
4000 San Diego
and FX 57

I finally went with the 4400 because it has the highest lache availble, and I could also OC it past the 4800 (2.4). Also, it was dual core.
 
OK, so your happy with your 4400+? I just want to have something I will be happy with and it won't cost an arm and a leg... I also want it to last a while until I get my next computer
