PayPal Problems! ahh help me PLZ!!!

Hi guys, recently i tried to buy a video card off of tigerdirect using an echeck through paypal. if any of you ever used echecks before you would know that they take about a week before the transaction is cleared and the money is sent. But I found a better video card for less, so i called and cancled my order, they tell me it is cancled, i look online and its status is cancled. Then I ordered another video card with another echeck.. found a better deal cancled order and went to purchese that video card intown, and they tell me that it was a mistake they didnt mean to put that price online.

On monday $200 for the first echeck is withdrawn from my bank account!!! ugh i said to myself as I emailed paypal about it. no response... im ver concerned i wont get my money back because the status of the echeck on paypal is still not cleared yet even though the money has been withdrawn, if it had gone to tigerdirect it wouldnt be a problem i could just call them and get the money back or something, but paypal has a non toll free number... im scared for my $200 and the $150 2nd echeck that hasnt been withdrawn yet.. i dont want to lose $350 for nothing! anybody have a similar experience with paypal that will help me know what to do? or any sugestions?
 
Most online merchants are very good about refunding money when a transaction like that happens email them and explain the situation and they will return your money.
 
thats just the thing cromwell, it says on paypal that they werent payed, it says that paypal didnt take any money from my account, but i checked my online bank records and paypal did take the exact amount that my echeck was for :( :eek: :(

im just hoping that paypal didnt make an error
 
in that case it's something you'll have to take up with paypal, since you have the bank records it should be easy enough to convice them that you aren't trying to scam them.
 
it takes time for refunds and withdraws, it takes 3 days to take money from my paypal account to my bank account. it takes a few day to refund my shipping and also to refund someone and pending.
 
It was deducted fomr his bank account, but ti doesn't show it was paided on ebay, so he payed, but the other guy doens;t think he paid.
 
that's one thing that i don't like about PayPal... if you look really closely at their user agreements, they make themselves completely unliable in case something like this happens... the way I understand it, legally they aren't held responsible even if it is their mistake.
 
the thing i dont like about it is their 5 percent discount from the money you make and also their rounding off profit from your item total. i wonder if their business account doesnt have this fee?
 
yop... only account that doesn't have a fee is a personal account i think... heck even that might have a fee now idk
 
since you have the bank statements email paypal support (again if necessary) it will probably take a couple days for them to respond
