just finished my first ever pc build, (im writing this post from it now). ive had some mistakes and problems along the way, faulty dvd drives, faulty cpu but it is all running smoothly. and I must say 1080p using the gpu just looks awesome, so happy. just 5 minutes ago it got to logging in and bsod so I tried few more times and it kept doing it I noticed firstly I got in and it come up with a memory error on (send to Microsoft) so I removed a ram stick (far right) and have not had any problems with it so far, but guess it means ill have to RMA the faulty stick but 12gb ddr3 is plenty enough until my new one comes back. I thought there may have been a problem when it said 16gb installed and then said 15.7gb total.
im just installing windows updates and customising the pc to my liking and im good to go, ill be installing bf3 and seeing what that's like on a msi gtx 770 oc twin frozr 4gb ;D. im just so very happy with it and I think it certainly looks the part too, it could do with a little inside cable management but overall looks great.
just a few final things to buy. 1 of which is a new desk chair as this chair is horrible. 4gb RAM stick, couple of games.
a few final things too, for some reason my RAM is set to 1333mhz but is 1600mhz on the label and packaging. guess ill set that in the bios. install all programs and transfer a couple from an external hard drive.
Next just to play some games and write up some work
. Im just so proud, I look at it like I have made it come alive so to speak and I just really want to say a huge thank you to anyone that has helped me along the way, either to recommending me items or giving me advice on some of the problems ive been having.
You can see all my specs in my sig and hopefully later on ill get some pics on so you can see what it looks like
.
Thanks guys!
