Hi guys im from Switzerland so please dont expect the best english from me so heres the thing:
I bought 2x 2GB ram to add to my old 2x 2GB ram so i would get 8 the Ram ist the same as i already got exept the version is different but in my motherbord book it says it works. here you can see the Ram

here are some specs of my PC: i have a
motherboard called: Asus M4a87TD
Cpu: AMD Phenom(tm) II X44 965 Processor 3.40 GHZ

I tryed the auto Bios settings what happend is: i play 5 minutes pc freezes and i need to restart so i changed my bios settings like this:

RAM Frequenz: 1333mhz
Row Cycle Time: mind. 41
DRAM Ref Cycle Time: 300
1,5V RAM Spannung, 1,15 - 1,20V CPU/NB Voltage
Timings auf 9-9-9-24

and it worked i could play like 2 houres then freeze so can anybody help me out with some perfect settings or tipps?

Run memtest 86 with just the new ram installed and see if that picks up any problems,It could be that one or more of the ram sticks is faulty.

Best leave it running overnight.

Worse can scenario could be that the two different brands of ram don't like working with each other,Thats why its recommended to use matching sticks.
You would have been better off buying a 2x 4gb kit and selling your old ram.

Have you tried running the ram at 1600Mhz like it should do?

Sorry,Im confused with what you said here.

If the sticks don't match exactly that could be an issue.

You only ran memtest for 3 hours?...give it longer,The longer you can give it the better..A lot of people say overnight is best.

Is your CPU stock or overclocked?
