I've been trying to get a secondary display for my PC. I'm using N-view to put my tv as my secondary display. It detected the tv and I get it to display yes, but its very garbish. I went to the N-vidia control center and i tested all* (and i mean all) major Tv formats (ntsc, pal, etc) but none of them seems to work.
I remember doing the same thing on my bro's pc but his was an ATI graphic card so i was much easier i simply switched from Pal to NTSC, rebooted and it worked.

but mine is not working at all. is this a problem with N-view ? or am i not getting the whole idea how to do this ? see image

Your tv only runs at a certain resolution yes but try playing with your settings on the tv to seen if you can get a better picture quality just in case

It's impossible to tell from the picture you too, I'm not familiar with the "N" program, but you should be able to set individual resolutions for each monitor/tv. As an example, for my laptop I have it at 1280x800 and on my tv, I have 1024x768. See if that' an option on the program or not. As for the PAL and NTSC, you should set that to wherever you are from.

i've been trying all night, also i even put it to the lowets resolution. Still not working. My country is NTSC and i put tv to ntsc but no life. i will keep trying.
but if there's no hope i will need to buy an ATI card.

It's really hard to tell what's going on, but it does look a lot like you just have it set to PAL rather than NTSC...

Nvidia cards aren't that hard to get going with TV Out. I've used mine a few times. I though the older ATI stuff was easier, but I nvidia's isn't THAT difficult. It;s probably just some minor little setting being overlooked...
