Agreed, but the only thing that looks completely overpowered would be the proc. You could downgrade that and save some money.

For under £500 I think that is a quite nice setup. But as mrjack and holyjunk125 said it does seem slightly overpowered. Is it just the sims she will be playing?

I think it is fine, because you don't want to build something to be replaced in a year or two

Cool, cheers guys for the comments.. yeah i wanna make it a lill future proof and be able to run any apps and stuff with out a prob, photo shop for example.
Maybe even good enough for windows vista ??

Ya, except you would want to upgrade to 2 gig of ram.
