PC game controller

What's the best PC game controller?
I'm going to be using for sports games, specifically Winning Eleven: Pro Evolution Soccer 2007.
 
I don't mean to be bland, but..... a keyboard, and a mouse. Find a controller that has more range than a mouse, and more buttons than a keyboard. There is a reason why most gamers prefer keyboard and mouse to a standard controller.
