Pc gpu help !!!

I want to be able to have a dual monitor setup. But there is a problem, i only had the gpu built into the mother board with 1 slot so i went and bought another, when i use the new one the PC doesn't recognize the one that is built in. Help, any would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

When you add a graphics card to a PC, the onboard one gets disabled.

What video card did you buy?

Dont know what chipset you have. But pretty sure some AMD chipsets or it might just be with AMD APU you can use the onboard with certain AMD cards and use both, but that might just be for Hybrid crossfire. Havent really checked into it.
