PC Hijacked

I'm running a PC with Windows XP Home and today it was completely taken-over by a virus. It changed my desktop into a large message saying that my system has been infected and installed two different "antispyware" programs which keep popping warnings up. I tried to use HijackThis, Malwarebytes and the other Antispyware prograns that I have installed, but Internet Explorer is the only legit program that I can get to run. Even the task manager has been disabled.
Any help that can be provided will be most appreciated.

Download Combofix: http://www.forospyware.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe
Take a note on where you downloaded it to

Restart your computer to Safe Mode by pressing F8 before Windows starts: More info HERE

Locate the downloaded Combofix
Run it, and accept the options along the way

Restart normally to Normal Mode (Note: Combofix may have automatically done this for you)
Update your Antivirus (usually right click on tray icon > Select update)
Run Malwarebytes > update it first > Run a full scan > At end of scan remove all found malwares
Restart

Download and run CCleaner > And select "Run Cleaner" button
Then locate Combofix again and run another scan, this time save the log.

Restart

Run HijackThis: http://go.trendmicro.com/free-tools/hijackthis/HijackThisInstaller.exe
Do a scan and save log file

Attach both logs using the attachment button >

In the New Reply Window, here at computerforum, in this thread

Note: Your computer may still be infected, please try:
Not to use File Sharing programs
Not go to unknown web sites
Avoid attaching files to outgoing emails
Avoid attaching other computers or drives to your computer

If your other scanners won't run then I highly doubt Combofix will run, but give it a try. Your only other option would be to take your drive out and put it in another system with a fully updated virus scanner and scan your drive. It should find the offending files causing your scanners not to work. Put the drive back in your computer and continue scanning with Malwarebytes and your own fully updated virus program. Please come back here and post the malwarebytes log and hijackthis log after you have put the drive back in your own system. Make sure malwarebytes is fully updated.

Do a full virus scan and if you cant delete it then format your hard drive and install a fresh copy of the programs you have.
