hello everyone, just hoping for a little help.

I had a friend at work build me a comp and it has worked fine for a while but my computer keeps trying to set up when I turn on the computer. It gives the option to I guess start normally but if I dont hit the up arrow it automatically goes into the set up screen. This has been a problem I could deal with for a while but my girlfriend got me a bt keyboard and mouse and the key board wont work for this because the bt isnt active until its past this screen. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I take it its running windows XP then? Have you let it complete this process before, it could be the end of the installation... whatever it is the person who built it for you hasnt finished it properly.

This menu you talk about.... does it look at all like this one (http://img.microsoft.com/library/me.../prodtechnol/winxppro/reskit/ch29/f29zs04.jpg)

If so you could always just get rid of the SETUP line and have only the working option, that way the menu wouldnt even appear and it would auto select the working one.... let me know if it is like that, if it is ill walk you through how to get rid of it

Unless someone has left the xp cd in the drive and booted of it again so now it thinks you want to set upo xp again?
How do you delete that other partition that is not being used?
