pc LAN game

I want a game that I can play as a 2 player Lan game. Is there anything thats like dynasty warriors where you use swords. It can't be an rts or fps it can be a grand theft auto type game. Once I find a game like that my next question is how do you set up a lan game? All you need is a router, 2 computers, and 2 cat5 cables right?

For the lan question you could always just use a cross over cable if you dont have all that other stuff.

What's a cross over cable? I have the router and the cat5 cables though so i'd rather not waste money when I can just use those.

yea, thats fine. but If you didn't own those a cross over would be cheaper but your all set, just set up a lan under connections in windows.

Now I just need a game. anything where you have a sword is good. 3rd person shooters or over the shoulder is good (kinda like socom). Do they even make online games that arent rts fps or mmorpg?

so I can have it just like it is where its set up for online and one computer is wireless or do I have to have change the cables around so the computers arent connected to the net?
