PC not beeping or loading any startup screens?

Do you get any sort of BIOS display on screen or any indication HD access? If you are not seeing anything upon turning on the computer (no video display, no HD access) it is possible that either the RAM or CPU is not seated properly. Or, it could be that whatever RAM or CPU you have installed is not compatible with your motherboard.

Is this a new build? Make/model? Parts?

He is not seeing any video at all. Not hearing the little beep either.

He will check the CPU and ram when he gets home.

The build is fine but the motherboard took a poop so it was RMAed. He's reinstalling everything now.

if your getting signs of life (fans spin alittle) but it wont boot up, i would think something is shocking the board. Make sure the mobo is grounded and on the standoffs right, look for anything touching the board..also make sure the i/o shield is setup right (or just take it out).

something not plugged in, or plugged in incorrectly (backwards modular cables), case power button not plugged in, PSU not turned on... the reasons for nada on start up are numerous
