Pc optimizing

My computer is not running smooth and I'm just wondering if anyone knows good softwares or anything that you can change on your pc to make it faster.
Any tip would be greatly appreciated :)!

I have windows 7 by the way :)
 
That's strange. Win7 is suppose to run smoothly for a long time. How long did you have it on your PC?

Either way, you can try to defragment the hard drive and this should help a bit. Also run CCleaner to clean some registry errors and optimize few things. I used TuneUp Utilities (paid version) on Win XP before and it did a good job. Not sure about Win7 though.
 
I have had it for more than 1 year :) It's running ok, but I not for gaming :) Specially in flash games. I upgraded to the latest flash player version and I use gamebooster and smart ram. I only need a little last thing that gives the extra boost my pc needs :) Any answer would be greatly appreciated :)
 
I am currently usiong Windows 7 as operating system. But I find that my computer is gradually becoming slow. I think that is a problem of registry. Is there any software by which I can remove the unwanted registry from my computer. Please solve my problem.

Try Ccleaner for registry.

@original poster: What's the specs of your computer and how many startup programs are you running? Chances are you can speed things up by disabling all the startup programs that you don't need.
 
So you are using Windows 7 on your machine.
Well, you should use Disk Defragmenter tool which defragments your volume so that your computer runs faster and more professionally.

Here is my system stuff. My pc is not running smooth when I use the internet(I have opera)
When I play Css it doesn't it's also a little slow.
When I use the internet it is specially flash games that are running bad. :)

I do a defragment once a week. I fix errors once a week. I do a virus scan once a week. These things helps a little but my system still needs a little boost, so I would greatly appreciate some help, thanks :)

There is no need to do defragment once a week. It should be done either once a month or once a couple of months. It wont do anything once a week.
