pc overheating?

Ok, let me start i installed a program called AMD Fusion For Gaming utility cracked for Intel, and once i restarted my PC, i loaded up speedfan and my gpu was at 70c and my Core was at 50, normally there both around 30-40, i opened a few games to test if my fps was dropping and on cod4 from 260 rite down to 40, So anyone no whats happening


Do i need a case fan or something if so please tell me witch 1 i should get

Edit: just noticed while playing games gpu and core goes flying high temperatures, please HELP!!!!

hmmm, sounds like you need to uninstall amd fusion. it is meant for amd processors for a reason. If you have a quad core it doesnt mater anyways because it just stops some windows processes but if u were getting 260FPS, thats pretty damn good. in my opinion, just leave ur pc teh way it was.

Crank the GPU fan up. I run my 285 @ 80% all the time.
Better CPU heatsink will help a lot, even if not OC'd.
Case fans help a lot too. I run 5 case fans. 2 intake and 3 exhaust.
