PC Power and Cooling vs. Corsair vs. Antec

I am stuck on a decision for my power supply.

My three options are as follows:

PC Power and Cooling Silencer 750W - $139.99

Corsair HX750 - $159.99 CDN

Antec TP-750 True Power - $139.99 CDN

I know all of them have more than enough power to run my system.

I would like to hear stories, bad, good whatever. I need help making this choice.

They're all good units, but I'd go with the Corsair. Better performance than the other two, and has the best cable configuration. (The Antec is modular but with too many hardwired cables, and the PCP& isn't modular at all)

Besides that, the HX750 has $30 off, a $20 mail in rebate, and free shipping on the egg right now. $100 for that unit is an amazing deal.

I vote HX750 as well :) If you can afford it and really need 750 watts look at the Corsair AX-750

I did look at the AX 750. I can get it for $165 and the HX 750 for probably around $145, I haven't checked my price on it.

I do like modular, but I really don't need it. However I do like the Corsair actually gives you a back for the extras, where antec really doesn't or didn't with the last modular I bought from them several years ago and now I can't add a thing because I lost all the extra cables.

It depends... PCP&C seems to have higher quality parts than almost any other PSU manufacturer, but they don't have a real solid warranty system. Corsair is comparable in quality, of course, and its warranty system is fantastic. Antec is great, too, but it doesn't really fall into the same category.

Depends which unit you are referring to specifically. If its an original silencer, performance is going to be roughly similar to that of the HX850, but will be less efficient. If its the Silencer Mk. II, I'd suggest staying away as the quality has dropped and doesn't warrant the price of the units.

The truepower is among one of the best 750W units on the market for ripple suppression and regulation for the price.

However, I would highly suggest the XFX units, Seasonic M12D sourced internals, excellent ripple suppression and regulation, modular, well priced, and 80PLUS Silver Certified, $129.99 and then a $20USD rebate as well:

The HX-750 is a decent unit, Can't say anything bad about them, a bit overpriced though at $160 CDN IMO.

^Yeah, I think that you'll be pleased with whichever one you choose, but you can find a better deal that will still surpass your needs, such as the one bomber has listed. ;)
