Pc Problem

I have my neighbors pc, which he said it dint turn on.I made it to the point it turned on. At start it tests the memory after that this info comes up:
cpu clock/cache memory
Shows drives/Display ports
Type of ram
Displays the hdd with hdd smart capability disabled
Pci Devices
bus,dev,fun,vendor.device,suid,ssid,class,device,class

then list of devices------
-
-
-
-
then:
Veryfying Dmi Pool Data..... Update success
Then it does not go on....

Sorry for the non-sense

I got the computer to boot.

Bios does this test on the ram.

After that the desktop info comes out in a window such like cpu info, drivers, ports, list of devices
and then at the end this msg comes out

veryfying Dmi Pool Data..... update success

And windows 2000 never loads :/
 
Oh right, No, it won't work if the computer has Windows 2000.

I guess you'll have to wait till he's back, it should help you out.

it will not work. The hdd with xp must come from another computer if you want to the switch to the 2000 pc, if thats what you mean.s

Two computer will have different hardwares, and xp will not boot do to this reason.
 
He does not have windows 2000.
The system came with it.
He got his desktop from a raffle hes kid won at his elementary school, 3 years ago...

What options do I have?
 
I think my only option is to get someone that has windows 2000 but who has windows 2000 in the year 2058 :/

Do I have other options?
